Omkaram Mantra (108)

from Mantra Sadhana by Naren K. Schreiner

/

about

The sacred syllable of Om (Omkaram) is chanting here 108, beginning with the Omkaram Stotram three times.

Omkaram Stotram is from the Shiva Śaḍākṣara Stotra of the Rudrayāmala Tantra.

oṁkāraṁ bindusaṁyuktaṁ nityaṁ dhyāyanti yoginaḥ
kāmadaṁ mokṣadaṁ caiva oṁkārāya namo namaḥ

The syllable Om, in union with the bindu,
Meditated upon daily by yogis, leading to
Fulfillment of desires and to liberation,
To this Om I reverently bow.
